ROLES |
| Provides annual fire safety and comprehensive safety and inspections / reports (CSIR) for all schools and District facilities. Reviews Construction Plans, issues Construction Permits and conducts Inspections to ensure building and fire code compliance. Issues building permits and conducts inspections at school construction, alteration, demolition, portable relocation and change of use projects. Develops and maintains the District construction design criteria and master specifications. Provides assistance with ADA regulatory compliance. Provides technical assistance with LEED (green) design initiatives. Assists schools and other departments with construction design and technical support. Reviews charter school applications and renewals and inspects charter school facilities. Ensures contractor compliance with state and local regulatory standards and requirements. |
