CANINE OFFICERS
Two specially trained full-time Police Officers and canines routinely patrol all of the District's schools and facilities. The Officers are responsible for the discovery and recovery of illegal drugs and firearms. The Officers provide classroom and group demonstrations with their dogs throughout the School District. The use of the canines has proven to be a valuable deterrent, discouraging students from bringing drugs or guns on campus.
