The nomination process for the 2022 William T. Dwyer Awards for Excellence in Education is now open. Principals are asked to designate one person to serve as the liaison to facilitate the nominee selection process. 

The designated liaison should follow the nomination guidelines and then submit their nomination(s).

Each school can nominate outstanding teachers in seven different categories:

 • STEM Education  • Elementary Education
 • Student Advancement & Career Education  • Middle School Education
 • Special/Support Programs  • Senior High Education
 • Grow Up Great: Early Education  

The winner in each category receives $3,500 and finalists each receive $500. The winners will be named during the awards ceremony that will take place at the Kravis Center on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.

Submit nominations through the official form. Nominations must be submitted online by 5 p.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021.

Over the past 37 years, the Dwyer Awards has grown to be the premier teacher recognition event in Palm Beach County. It honors more than 200 educators for their professional abilities and leadership qualities while bringing recognition to educators for the time and effort they put into educating students.
